Now,being serious mean you are paying attention to a thing/human/idea/meeting/work 100%!it means to be concentrated and not being distracted by random stuffs that pops up in your mind.Being serious is also a way to show respect to a speaker or even to a friend,by being serious to a person.you gets his attention and respect too.See the seriousness of being serious?

Being random and serious is part and parcel of life.everybody will have that,but its the matter of whether the person know how to control when to be serious and when to be random.
